Open to graduate and undergraduate academic programs in arts and cultural administration, arts policy, and research that meet AAAE requirements. One third of the participants were so-called first timers (assumedly several of them Europeans who took advantage of not having to travel that far). Institutional membership is subject to approval by the AAAE Credentials Committee and the AAAE Board. First-time presenters will be prioritized, and presenters are discouraged from participating in more than two sessions. AAAE will offer a special discounted day rate for NYC local participants who participate in this way.
