Davis and Burns manage to catch up to Michael and Ray; after accidentally killing a civilian, Ray is mortally wounded by Davis. He never really comes alive. In the 90s the main character would've been played by Denzel Washington who'd have made a better job of it. I enjoyed every part of it, very well paced, all great actors, Chadwick Bozeman has carisma, I'm surprised how much good actor he is, a great action movie actor, forget the na no na na (haters) saying, this a masterpiece of movie and I can wait for more films like this, from this production time, amazing cast! Michael manages to hide in a hotel room, where he unlocks the contents of the drive and realizes that McKenna's precinct was involved in trafficking the drugs from the winery and earning profits for it, and that all seven of the cops he and Davis had killed in the shootout had been The next morning, McKenna arrives at his home to find Davis holding him at gunpoint, having found out the contents in the drives. I almost forgot to add that this movie also deals with the subject of a police conspiracy and corruption within the New York City Police Department. Davis is assigned to the case. J K Simmons is a great foil to him as the police chief and Sienna Miller takes a very good part as his partner in the chase. Good action sequences too. Very disappointed. You get the idea. Great movie! The film is moody and atmospheric throughout, with an amazing score. I was left thinking that with a few tweaks this could have been a really good film.
