This book must have been under my radar before I heard about it on The Readers but it's definitely Simon, who made me run to the shelves to scoop this up to read. Loved the setting, all the ice and exploration of Arctic scenery and animals.Half-Inuit Edie Kiglatuk lives on Ellesmere Island working as a part time teacher and guide. Wise, talented beyond his years and constantly striving for perfection, White Heat certainly encapsulates the essence of Marco Pierre White - true madness.

I liked the descriptions of the arctic and the interactions of the characters in the Inuit town.
