The Great Glen Way is one of Scotland’s Great Trails.. **GGW2 Blackfold - In a recent change to the walking itinerary for the stage between Drumnadrochit & Blackfold (Day 6), we now arrange for walkers to be collected from their accommodation in the morning and transferred to the GGW at Blackfold, where they then pick up the trail and walk back to Drumnadrochit at their own pace for a second night (there is no accommodation at Blackfold). The walk to Inverness Castle follows the latter section of the Caledonian Canal into the city centre.
