I recently picked this movie up for a whopping £4 in a recent sale in an attempt to make my own mind up. 'True Grit' is a flawless film. Best thing I have seen in awhile. Thrown in a generic story with a family about to lose a farm and some good ol' western gunslinging - and you've got a fun way to spend some more time with the characters you love. The film is just an excuse to see exactly what is described in the title; A Further Adventure with Rooster and Mattie Ross (played by Lisa Pelikan). 'Rooster' Cogburn. A fine movie and a great credit to all involved in its production. I'm kind of glad I did.
