The entire CD is awesome, but I'm partial to the two songs each by Peter Gallagher and Jesse Frederick which were the main performance numbers in the movie. I have been searching for years online, hoping that this music would come out on CD, but never expecting it to do so, since it's so dated, and only my generation has ever heard of it. I'd like to see a re-mastered version. I am such a fan of the movie. The album has a little bit of everything -- pop, jazz, and R&B. All of the songs are strong and have great hooks.

Should I put a penny on my stylus or any other suggestions? I saw this movie in 1980 and loved it. Couldn't listen at all to the record because it was so warped and the needle doesn't get a grip on the grooves at all I received it wrapped well and in a timely manner, I just wish I could listen to it. I was actually fortunate enough to find a cassette of the soundtrack quite a few years ago..It had most of the soundtrack songs on it but not all..I am anxious to get the cd for both the digital quality and hopefully more of the original soundtrack..Peter Gallagher's great vocals were 1 of the pleasures of the soundtrack (not to mention his performance)Jesse Frederick (dubbing for Paul Land)really captured the essence of the 50's/60's pop singers.....Ray Sharkey,,Joey Pants and Paul Land were terrific in their respective roles..thanks to the people involved for bringing 1 of my all time favorite 70's movie soundtracks to CD! The moment Darlene Love starts to sing in the opening sequence, you will be hooked on a really fun period in American pop music. I love the music on the album, I think is a very talented artist, to say the least I think it's unnecessary to have I don't know why the soundtrack has never made it to the digital world.
