American retro livery

Back in 2013, the newly merged American used their internal Arrivals newsletter to put the new AA livery to a vote.. As we all know, the modified livery (that had already been painted on 200 legacy AA aircraft) ultimately won support and continues to be painted on newly acquired and legacy US and AA aircraft today.

American also has a classic retro-liveried 737, painted to look like one of its polished-aluminum birds of the 1950s — the so-called “Astrojet” livery.
